Prasanth Yanambaka

About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Texas Woman's University, Denton. My research focus is on Internet of Things (IoT) and developing Hardware-Assisted Security primitives for IoT architectures. I am an author of over 35 publications which include multiple journal/transaction articles and book chapter. I served as a reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals and conferences. I am an active member of IEEE since 2012.

I received my Ph.D.in Computer Science and Engineering from University of North Texas, Denton, Texas in 2019. My dissertation titled "Exploring Physical Unclonable Functions for Efficient Hardware Assisted Security in IoT" was directed by Dr. Saraju Mohanty. My research during the Ph.D. was focused on developing hardware assisted security modules, PUFs for IoT architectures. This research was awarded Best Poster Award in IEEE MetroCon 2017. I received my Master of Science in Computer Engineering from University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, and Bachelor of Technology from Priyadarshini College of Engineering and Technology, Nellore, India.
